RAI-Janssen B1 Chiller Lines

KC Industrial was contracted to clean all new interior carbon steel cooling tower piping ranging from 3" to 14" in diameter. Cleaning methods were selected based on pipe condition, accessibility, and size to ensure optimal surface preparation.

All piping was cleaned to SP-12 (Water Jetting 4,500 PSI) standards and chemically treated with Hold-Blast by Chlor*Rid for active surface passivation at a 1:50 dilution. Areas with severe surface contamination or debris were cleaned to SP-2 (Hand Tool Cleaning) standards.

All dislodged debris was captured through a filtration system beneath the grates, maintaining a controlled and environmentally responsible work area. The project was completed under a single mobilization, with RAI providing access to all interior piping to complete the scope efficiently and safely.
